All classes will be taking part in the NSPCC 'Keeping Safe' programme this week - the theme for TERM 3 is 'Being Safe' - please look out for 'Homework' discussion sheets coming home.

| Nurture Room - we are delighted to announce that we will soon be seeing the ground work commence for our additional classroom (Our Nurture Room) - planning has been passed, EA have issued the works and we hope to see the modular classroom arrive on site by early September, with ground work starting in the summer months. This classroom will be placed outside the Primary 4 end of the building.
P6 enjoyed a great day out for our class trip. We visited Parliament Buildings at Stormont where we were given a guided tour of the Senate chamber and the Assembly Chamber. We even met an MLA! Thanks to Mr Paul Frew for taking time to meet us and explaining just what an MLA does. In the afternoon we visited Botanic Gardens where we again had a guided tour of the Palm House and experienced a little of what it would be like to live in a rainforest climate!
