School update @ 7:30pm - Weds 18th March

18th Mar 2020

Dear Parent/Guardian

This is information that I never thought I would be sharing with you in my career as Principal. I am writing to confirm with you the news you all have already heard this evening - our government has finally confirmed that schools will close for pupils as of Friday 20th March 2020 as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

Camphill Primary will remain open to pupils Tomorrow (Thursday) for any parent who still wishes to send their child to school. School will however close for all pupils at 1pm. Breakfast club, breaktime snacks and school dinners will all be as normal. Little Stars will run from 1pm-2pm. There will be no school bus at 1pm/2pm.

On Friday this will be a STAFF only day where we will be organising the collection of pupil home learning materials. More information regarding this will follow tomorrow.
Due to the nature of the circumstances we find ourselves in we ask for your support in the collection of this material by following the instructions that will be issued tomorrow.

May I take this opportunity to thank you, once again, for your understanding over this last week and as a staff of Camphill Primary School we all offer our best wishes to all our pupils and their families in the day’s ahead.

Kind regards

Mrs K.McMaster

Principal
