P7 enjoy a morning at Ballykeel PS with Wayne Denner

22nd Feb 2024

This morning we travelled over to Ballykeel PS to join their P7 classes along with the P7 class from St. Brigid’s. We were there to listen to a very informative technology talk from Wayne Denner. We learnt about how to stay safe online whilst communicating with our friends, gaming, shopping and more!

We also learnt the importance of passwords, and their strength, and how easy it can be for someone to hack our accounts if we are not cautious with the information that we share about ourselves online.

Wayne gave us lots of tips to go home and share with our parents, let’s see how much we can remember to share. We think we will have lots to teach them as our teachers were amazed at how quickly technology is changing in our world! 😃đŸ–Ĩī¸đŸ•šī¸đŸ“ąâŒšī¸
