Care for Cambodia

24th Apr 2023

On Wednesday 19th April, Jonny Hamill, who works for an organisation called Care for Cambodia came into Camphill. He spoke to P4-P7 about what the aims of his organisation are and how they help children in Cambodia to obtain the benefits of many Rights. Through showing slides and interacting with pupils he was able to clearly explain how his job entails helping children 👶 receive an education. Mrs. McMaster very kindly made a generous donation to help this worthwhile cause. As a follow up activity, each class involved in the assembly were able to identify and explain the Rights that Care for Cambodia help to fulfil.  The great news is that Jonny is going to help us to establish a link with a Primary school in Cambodia. Thank you so much to Jonny!
