STEM Workshop in P3SG

2nd Nov 2021

What an interesting afternoon we all had in P3SG! Peter from Sentinus came to our classroom and we got to make and launch our very own rockets. We worked in small teams to roll the paper around a piece of plastic tubing. Then we had to add a plastic cap onto the top of our rockets. Our next job was to make ‘fins’ for our rockets which was quite tricky but we all did a great job! The most exciting part was when we got to go outside into the playground and launch our rockets! ðŸš€ Peter used a special air compressor to send our rockets blasting up into the sky. Some of our rockets went so high that they landed on the roof of the school! Well done to everyone and a huge thank you to  Peter from Sentinus for providing such an exciting afternoon of learning. Take a look at some of our pictures below.
