Spring has Sprung 🌼
The Eco Committee thoroughly enjoyed their first after school session of the Spring Term with Mrs Anderson today. They got up to lots of exciting activities, including important preparation for Eco Day.
First of all, they visited the wild garden to see what was going on and were able to see celandine, nettles, butterfly bushes and honeysuckle (to name a few)! This a great way of attracting a wide variety of creatures to our school grounds.
Next, they explored their handy work where they had planted some daffodil bulbs in October. We think they look wonderful and are keeping a close eye on the tulips and bluebells making an appearance🌷. They enjoyed a snack in the outdoor classroom before getting to work in the flowerbeds.
What a fabulous day to start! 🌟
Thank you to Mrs Anderson and the Eco Committee for all of their continuous hard work. 💛💙
