Shared Education day 5 in Primary 5

10th Feb 2023

Pupils from both Primary 5 classes met up with their friends from Mary Queen of Peace today, Friday 10th February, for their final Shared Education Day in Camphill Primary School.

The programme for the day included an art activity, some science activities with water and a fashion show.

Miss McGurk took the water science sessions. We were doing some chromatography, growing a rainbow, working with water and glitter and carrying out a water versus pencil activity.

Mrs. Davis assisted the pupils with the art activity . The children used watercolour paints to create lightly washed backgrounds. These were then overlaid with darker blocks to form buildings and additional features such as people, windows doors etc were added on in ink.

Miss Service took us for a fashion show. We all had a chance to show off the beautiful tie -dye T-shirts that we had made in our last session. It was great fun strutting our stuff on the catwalk!!!!!!

All three Primary 5 classes involved had a fantastic day. Hopefully they’ll have a chance to meet up again in Primary 6.
