Pirate Day in P2 LA! 🏴‍☠️

12th Mar 2025

What a fun day we had in P2 today all dressed up as pirates! Thank you to all the parents and carers who helped their children with such brilliant costumes and accessories! A great day was had by all!

We started off our morning composing a pirate poem as a whole class. Then we wrote our own poems with our partners! We also enjoyed a story called ‘Pirates don’t go to school’.

After break, we had a treasure hunt around the school and managed to find chocolate coins which were soon eaten!!
Then we took our Green Screen pictures so we looked like we were on a pirate ship or treasure island. Have a look out for these pictures on the website very soon!

We also enjoyed our new ‘Pirate-themed’ Learning through play choices.

After lunch, we did some pirate problem solving for Numeracy. Then we all enjoyed a Pirate ‘Dough Disco’ and we sang ‘The Pirate Song’ before heading home!

Have a look at all of our pictures!
