P7AS on World Book Day

7th Mar 2024

Today we all arrived at school in our pyjamas for World Book Day!  Our theme was bedtime stories so we came prepared!

We had a visit to the Book Fair and spent time browsing the books on display before purchasing one we liked. We participated in a Scholastic Live event where we met Nina Peanut and drew alongside author-illustrator Sarah Bowie.  As we were participating in the Mid and East Antrim ‘Top Children’s Author’ ballot, we exercised our right to vote after learning a lot about each of our authors yesterday.

We also went down to Primary 4JC to read our favourite book to someone in that class. We really enjoyed World Book Day in our pyjamas!
