Today P6JH took an assembly linking some of the rights from the UN Convention to our WAU topic of Fairtrade. We focused on the banana farmers and how we can help ensure that they and their families enjoy the rights that we enjoy. When they are paid a fair price for their produce they can then afford better education, healthcare and housing. We will hopefully try to buy more Fairtrade products when we are shopping now.
