As part of WAU, we wondered how Vikings got their salt to preserve food for the winter! We carried out an experiment where we added salt to water until it was ‘saturated’. We are going to leave it and see what happens! Hopefully we will end up with some salt!

We talked about lots of scientific language such as saturated, dissolved, solution and evaporation.

We also discussed a fair test!

We will keep observing to see what happens!
