P5JS explore new writing frame 📝

14th Mar 2025

Teachers within Camphill have been working hard with Anne McErlane to introduce new writing initiatives within school.

Over the past few days we have been working hard on developing our ‘summarising’ skills through research. We used the iPads and a given website to record different life found in and around Lough Neagh, including detail such as, how they look and move.

Today we got a chance to use this information by creating writing strips. Miss Simpson explained the different parts of speech to be included and assured us we would all have a wonderful poem by the end.

She was right! Look at our wonderful Lough Neagh poems we created using writing strips ✏️.
