P5 Eco Day

13th Apr 2018

We had a super Eco Day today in P5! We started the day by making flowers from old plastic bottles, to display in our P5 trough box. Next, we used lots of different recycled materials to make 'junk art', we had some very creative ideas and some super finished pieces of art. We then went outside to construct our trough box, with the help of Charlotte we planted lettuces and made a small pond using recycled bottles. We finished the trough boxes by adding in our colourful plastic bottle flowers. Thank you to Barry Tapster who came to talk to us about how to recycle and Noel who taught us how to recycle our cereal boxes in a cool way!
