Anti-Bullying Week 2024 takes place this week, with the theme 'Choose Respect'. This week in class, pupils will be discussing what respect is and how we can show respect to others and how we can avoid bullying type behaviour. Ask your child about Anti-Bullying Week 2024!
| TUESDAY 12th is 'Odd Socks Day' - come to school wearing Odd Socks in support of Anti-Bullying week. This is a day when schools, workplaces, and individuals join together to show that it's okay to be different and to stand up against bullying and discrimination.

Today the whole school took part in an outdoor Numeracy Day! Our classes had the challenge of creating a 2D picture with construction straws. The pictures had to contain as many 2D shapes as possible. Extra points were awarded for a variety of shapes in our designs and a really good picture. We then chalked on the types of angle we had made and some pairs of parallel sides. We also found the perimeters of a variety of shapes around the exterior of the school building. Later in the day we added our ideas to a huge Numeracy art piece in the Hall. Each class had their own Numeracy equipment to add to the design. P5 used weights and calculators. We had a great day!
