P3SG Science Investigation - Exploring Ramps and Friction

This week as part of our learning in World Around Us and our new topic 'Toys' we carried out a Science investigation. This got us thinking, exploring and observing. We did a friction experiment using ramps and different surfaces. We put different surfaces on ramps to see what frictional effect they had on the speed of a toy car. This was great fun and we even learned about what makes a 'Fair Test'. Take a look at our pictures below.
