| School Car parking reminder - as we move into the darker mornings and afternoons please remember to drive safely around school grounds. At morning drop-off time this is a reminder that no one should be stopping on the roundabout - cars should keep moving at all times to allow the swift flow of traffic in and out of school grounds. Mrs Smiths' Primary 1 class had the opportunity to take Assembly and they were very excited. In class we have been learning about the different 'Rights' we have and we have been focusing on our 'Right to an Education'. Our theme for assembly was therefore Article 28 'The Right to an Education'. We talked about how much we enjoyed coming to school and some of the boys and girls told everyone about their favourite things to do and learn about in school. We then told everyone about 3 different children who live in different countries but unfortunately don't get to go to school as they have to work instead. Finally we finished off our assembly by acting out the story of 'David and Goliath' as it was one of our favourites. We all spoke so well and Mrs Smith was very proud of Primary 1!
