Numeracy Work in P3SG

20th Nov 2024

We have been so busy over the last few weeks. We have been learning about different words that mean the same as ‘take away’. We have been focusing on ‘Find the Difference’ and played a great game called the ‘Difference Race’. We have also been doing some place value work and have been thinking about the value of digits in different 2 digit numbers. We used some number beads to make and show different 2 digit numbers. We also have been learning about odd and even numbers and learned two rhymes to help us to remember the difference between odd and even. The rhymes are about two characters called ‘Bodd’ and ‘Steven’. We all decorated our Bodd and Steven characters, don’t they look great!!
