Full day of Teachers' strike action planned across Northern Ireland on Wednesday 26th April 2023

18th Apr 2023

A full-day teachers's strike across Northern Ireland is planned for Wednesday 26th April.  Staff members involved in this industrial action will therefore not undertake any duties on this date.
If this strike goes ahead as planned school will be closed to all pupils on Wednesday 26th April 2023 and will reopen as normal on Thursday 27th April.

Clearly this is a difficult situation, which will cause some disruption. I would ask you, however, to be understanding. This is a very unusual circumstance but I am conscious that it will be necessary for many families to begin to plan for childcare arrangements if this strike is to go ahead.
