Camphilll PS achieves 'GOLD' - we have been named as a GOLD SUSTRANS School

11th May 2020

We are delighted to announce that as of Thursday 7th May 2020 we have been awarded the SUSTRANS SCHOOL MARK GOLD AWARD!

Please see attached our 'Award letter' and video presentation of Camphill receiving this award-  we are so delighted to know that Camphill Primary is the first school in Ballymena to achieve the Gold award and the sixth school in Northern Ireland.

The assessors were most impressed with the pupils’ involvement and leadership in promoting active school travel. They also thought it was fantastic to see how active school travel is championed by teachers across all key stages, classroom assistants, the SMT and the Board of Governors.

A special thank you to Mrs McCullagh who coordinates the programme across the school and for all her hard work in collating and submitting the evidence required and for being interviewed by Sustrans 'virtually' at the start of May - well done!
