Big Walk and Wheel Triumph!

22nd Mar 2024
Today sees the end of our two week Big Walk and Wheel Challenge. A huge thank you to everyone who walked, scooted or cycled at any point over the last fortnight, we really appreciate you all joining in.

Over the course of the two weeks we have made 1,910 active journeys!
FS: 548 journeys
KS1: 447 journeys
KS2: 915 journeys

A special well done to the following classes who were the most active in their Key Stages:
FS: P1 Mrs McMillan, who have gone home today with a sticker and a wrist slap band
KS1: P4 Miss Crawford, who have gone home today with a sticker and a homework pass
KS2: P7 Mrs McCullagh, who have gone home today with a sticker and a homework pass

In even more special news, we have won one of the Sustrans daily competitions which were running over the last fortnight. Our prize is £600 worth of bikes for school from Cyclehoop. We can't wait for these to arrive!

Let's see if we can continue to be active with the nicer weather coming our way after the Easter holidays!
